Dear Sirs,

referring to your interest in our VACO-MAT®-Thermo-Folding-System, we give some detailed information: To start production you need the following equipment:

1.) Automatic press:

VACO-MAT®2000: vacuum-unit, heating system, press unit and control-system included

2.) Basic units in 2 sizes:

VACO®-FOLD 1000: basic-fixture-unit (heating-plate on top + vacuum-case on bottom) for VACO-TOOL-SETS up to max. article-size 420X250 mm or alternatively VACO®-FOLD 2000: basic-fixture-unit (heating-plate on top + vacuum-case on bottom) for VACO-TOOL-SETS up to max. article-size 580x350 mm

3.) Interchangeable die-sets:

VACO®-TOOL-SETS 1000 for basic-unit VACO®-FOLD 1000 up to max. article-size 420x250 mm or alternatively VACO®-TOOL-SETS 2000 for basic-unit VACO®-FOLD 2000 up to max. article-size 580x320 mm The die-sets (=moulds) are always produced exactly up to customers` inquiries: special size and shape! For each size you need 1 tool-set.. But if you standardize sizes, you are able to produce with 1 tool many different articles!

So you have only 1 automatic machine "VACO-MAT®2000" in 1 size and you are able to produce alternatively a) articles up to size 420 X 250 mm for this sizes you need: VACO-MAT 2000 + VACO-FOLD 1000 + VACO-TOOLS 1000 b) articles up to size 580 - 350 mm for this sizes you need: VACO-MAT 2000 + VACO-FOLD 2000 + VACO-TOOLS 2000 As 80-90 % of all articles are smaller than size 420 X 250 mm, some customers start with the a)-combination (VACO-MAT 2000 + VACO-FOLD 1000 + VACO-TOOL-SETS 1000) and later they buy additionally 1 further basic-unit VACO-FOLD 2000, to be able to produce also larger articles as for instance A4-ring-binders or pad holders letter-size. But must customers are starting already with both together.

We try to deliver the tools always as fast as possible (if necessary within 3 weeks, normally 4 - 5 weeks).The high quality cutting-die VACO-CUT (=cutting- knife) for the mainpart made of forged steel is always supplied together with the VACO-TOOL-SETS.

So you must decide which articles you want to start with. Please send us your required sizes on a sketch + samples (hand made prototypes are enough) together with some pieces of the mainly used materials (like genuine or bonded leather, synthetics etc. all together with linings, cardboard, foam and/or foamboard etc.)and we shall fax you immediately our exact offer by return, because prices depend always on size, shape and difficulty of tools.

The enclosed price-list shows you, as concerns tools, only estimated average-prices and we have always to calculate your special inquiry up to your special requirements.

We are also supplying pre-glued materials (PU + bonded leather) and machines for cutting, sewing, glueing etc... So if you have some technical questions regarding this fields, we are ready to make our proposal to solve your special problems.
